Old stories that you wrote way back in the early 90's, you will cringe. Especially when your writing has seriously matured into something a lot better than what was done before.

Yeah, my story The Drake's Problem was posted last Friday in the old form it was originally posted in. But on Sunday morning as I was reading it, I realized how bad it was, it really didn't fit into our storyline at all as it stood. So about three hours of a rewrite on the story came the new version of the story, one which fits the storyline much better than before.

I pushed myself and kept myself from losing the muse on the story, even when other people were trying to pull me away from writing my story. I got 51K with four days left to go and my grand total for the month is 51K.

Now, I'm still working on it to edit what was written and write more to the story since I have only one or three more chapters to go before it is all done.

I never thought it could happen to me that this year would be the year that I make my writing goal of 50K in one month.

I'm now working on couple new stories beyond this one. One dealing with shape shifters and the other dealing with Greek Mythology mainly about Medusa.

I am doing it and I'm actually at 45,500K with less than a five days to go. I plan on verifying on Sunday night if I am past the 50K mark.

Last year, I failed at 5k because my story stalled on me and would not return.

This year, I've been busy writing on my story and I hope to have it done by this coming Sunday.

If anyone here is doing NaNo, lets buddy up and share in each other's drive to get over 50K words in one month. Next year, should be a joy.

Each book focuses on one Warrior of Poseidon and a female as they join forces to defeat vampires and some shape shifters and end up having hot sex too without being too pornographic about it either.

There is about six books out already and more on the way.

I seriously recommend these books.
